Custom Offset Insulated Glass Units with TPS Technology
Central Valley Glass and Screen recently partnered with our long-time customer, Banks Glass, to provide custom insulated glass units for a unique project. The design included a striking butt-glazed corner with offset units.
All the insulated glass units were built using Thermo Plastic Spacer (TPS) technology, which offers:
- Better thermal efficiency with a continuous, flexible edge seal
- Strong argon gas retention for long-lasting energy performance
- Improved resistance to condensation
- Greater durability by eliminating metal spacers that often weaken seals over time
Because of the offset step design, precision was critical. Our CVGS team worked closely with Banks Glass to ensure exact sizing and compatibility across multiple units. This attention to detail resulted in a seamless installation by Banks Glass.
